Hotel room is dirty, lots of hair in the bathroom, staff unhelpful. This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. You'll get a fine from another company because the staff won't tell you that parking is not free.

The hotel smells of weed, rooms smell of I don't even know what. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, light in the bathroom in the first room given didn't work then lady in reception gave us a different room on ground floor where window didn't shut properly. So was quite cold as stayed in mid winter. The only good thing about this hotel was lady in reception. I booked the hotel for 2 nights as had some courses near by but checked out after 1st night. In the morning a different reception lady asked if I wanted a free breakfast as for bad experience which I declined. Staff is nice but hotel is not.

This place is a scam!! You park to pick up a parcel and you get finned. When I appealed and sent evidence of what I was picking up, they refused. £200 fine for picking up a parcel from the pick-up point!

My stay at the Campanile Hotel Swindon was satisfactory for the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for my needs. However, the facilities feel a bit dated, and there were maintenance issues, such as the lift being out of order. Overall, it’s a good choice for a budget-friendly and simple stay.

A truly filthy, broken down, crumbling dump. I’m not hard to please - I just want somewhere clean and quiet at a good price to rest while I’m on a trip. This place was expensive, filthy and loud. Everything was filthy. The soap dispenser was filthy. The carpets were filthy. There’s water leaking from the roof into reception. The lifts have been broken for months. I was kicked out of my room into another in the middle of my trip without warning. The one they moved me into stank of faeces and the radiator was stuck on a comically high temperature - billowing heat loudly into the room. When I went back down to reception, there was someone else complaining about the same broken radiator problem. He was saying he had to sleep with the window open. A second man was there saying he had no lights in his room. He paid for a double bed and was moved to a smaller one. This place is obviously on its knees. It’s literally falling apart. I’d be surprised if it’s still in business in a year. I wouldn’t book for many reasons, but I’d add to the list that it might not be open for business and a refund by the time your trip is scheduled. It’s also in the middle of absolutely nowhere. The only public amenity within walking distance is a KFC. Staff are very nice. Avoid at all costs. Just stay in the holiday inn and get a really cheap Veezu taxi in here if you need it.

This hotel has the following: Bed bug infestations Fire safety issues. (The roof literally went on fire during my stay. Poor cleanliness. Woodlice Other bugs (such as stinkbugs) Parking charges (ANPR) Limited food options (Literally only pizza on most nights) Inoperable Lift Dirty Carpets The list goes on. I will let the pictures and videos do the talking. The reception staff were pleasant enough, but this is the only redeeming quality. Avoid this hotel. You have been warned.

Good location not far from the motorway The hotel is not worth the price they charge Very small room Lift not working so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs no offer of help was forthcoming The room had a water leak in the ceiling and the carpets were wet and the bedding felt very Damp Light in bathroom didn’t work Shower ran hot and cold mainly cold Would I stay again Absolutely not

I loved the location outside Swindon busy centre. It has a bar very laid back after a night out in Swindon at a good price 👌

I loved my stay at the hotel, only two days, great location, very professional and attentive staff, well-equipped room, basic but exactly what I was looking for, it was not my first stay and I will be back soon, I believe that the price between £30 / £50 per night will be within the range, above that it is worth looking for another hotel. Parking is now paid, but a very insignificant amount. I believe it is £2.30 for 24 hours or something similar. Many thanks to the entire team. I definitely recommend this hotel...

Stayed 2 nights in campanile hotel had a lovely stay here, rooms clean and tidy. The best service was from Connor on reception great lad and good knowledge of the local area and he recommend the nice pub with the best food.

First impressions when you walk in look good but this place is very dirty and run down - its also never a good sign when the staff dont even have a uniform. I was going to eat here but its very expensive £14 for a pizza which for a "budget" hotel isnt great i could order out for less. I wasnt the only person who thought the same as many were complaining about the price. Theres a kfc and mcdonalds just a few mins walk away which most people staying there went to. Its a shame really because it has the basis to be a good hotel but definitely needs some money spending on it - parking whilst it was free on my stay they are in the process of changing to a chargable system. Also the shower wouldn't maintain a constant temperature personally I don't think I'd stay again until improvements are made

Friend booked the rooms over the internet, 2 rooms he said it was £70 a room, on our arrival we asked could we book a breakfast and was told we should have booked it with the room, the receptionist was very nice and polite, I'll let the pictures describe the rooms, bed wasn't very comfortable and mattress left a lot to be desired, pillow was very thin, décor was mostly green, and chip wallpaper, the shower worked and the water was hot and fast, there are no rails on the bath so getting in and out is hard, they would supply a slip mat but that'd be of little use getting in or out, my mates sink wouldn't empty either, pictures are mixed of 2 rooms staff on exit were really half arsed, im not sure of what the going rate for a room in Swindon is but if its better than this for the price I'd recommend it,

Stayed here while I was working in Swindon for a few nights. My room was horrible it looked like someone had hacked at the curtain with a knife, bleech stained carpets and found what looked like a cockroach in my room, no air con and on one of the nights I was told by the manager I could order my food but I had to wait a long time for it because there was only 1 chef working in the kitchen. Overall it wasn’t a welcoming hotel and below standard service. I didn’t pay for the hotel but told my company never to book with them again and only ate there 1 out the 3 nights I stayed because they had items not available on the menu every day I was there

Rooms very dated bed was good tho no a/c in room, food was average if that, road noise was really bad, 3 police cars turned up one night, not what you want when your working away from home

No air con or spare fans. However, room 6 was nice and cool. Comfy bed so slept well. Shower bearable but extractor dead. 2 lights out in room which was a bit tired. Staff need a boost. Nice enough but going through the motions. I didn't eat there due to several unavailable items. Drinks choice lacking.
